Gravitationaldesign is a new media design company started late 2006. We aim to work with clients to meet their needs in producing a full experience for their target user. Gravitationaldesign is run by like minded graphics designers, motion designers and front end web designers who are all experts in the field.

Philosophy
This is were we add a long statement waffling on about philosophy and our approach. To be honest we don’t follow a philosophy more so believe in good quality design, we believe in web standards, we believe in giving the client what they want and what they need. We also believe in you having a good experience while working with us.
Web standards – what are they all about?
When we refer to web standards what we really mean is recommendations that are set by WC3 (the world wide web consortium). Over the years WC3 have given guidance to the best way for browsers to render web sites. It has taken a long time and we are not there yet but increasingly so new browsers are getting ever closer to flowing these standards.
Why web standards?
I approach each design with Web Standards in mind for several reasons, the most important being that it saves the client money in the long run and the second, is that it provides better results for Search Engines. Google® just loves sites built semantically with Web Standards and if Google® loves your site, that means just having a site coded correctly improves your Search Engine Optimization; just ask the SEO pros, they’ll tell you.
Design Approach
This tends to be a four stage process.
• Once we have a request we send you a quote or if you are taking one of our standard packages give you more details
• We do some scamps (bespoke design ideas) for you to choose from
• We give you more option working with the design you chose and instruction you have given.
• We provide a final design which in the case websites is tested for compatibility and usability.
